Dr. Anna Yampolsky, Naturopath

 A knowledgeable, highly competent professional naturopath with extensive experience in the USA, Russia, Hungary, and Sweden, Dr. Anna Yampolsky created a novel natural healing approach to non-routine management of cerebral palsy and developmental delays in children. 

She is a fellow member of American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine.

 Dr. Yampolsky possesses excellent knowledge of Pediatrics, Neurology, and Internal Medicine. Her area of expertise is Child Neurology and Developmental Medicine.

 Skilled in treatment of children with perinatal encephalopathy, motor disorders, developmental delays, and autism, Dr. Yampolsky also practices complementary management of bronchial asthma, pneumonia, and allergies.

 She initiated innovative technique in naturopathic approach to treatment of patients with arthritis, hypertension, and depression. Dr. Yampolsky contributed to medical journals and newsletters in the USA and Russia, conducted courses and lectures, and led practical training in Holistic Medicine in the USA, Russia and Hungary.

 From the earlier student years at Leningrad Pediatric Medical School (now – St. Petersburg Pediatric Medical Academy) to clinical training in the celebrated children’s hospitals in St. Petersburg, Russia, to alternative medical training in St. Petersburg, Russia and Budapest, Hungary, and through 30 years of medical practice and the last 20 years as a naturopath and alternative medicine practitioner, Dr. Anna Yampolsky has been always interested in the optimal healing approach and sought creative opportunities to improve health outcomes.

 Traditionally trained as a medical doctor in the curriculums of conventional medicine, Dr. Yampolsky went a long way from skepticism so characteristic of many physicians to acceptance of complementary and alternative medicine. She specializes in Holistic Medicine, studying Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, Kneipp and Zalmanov methodology of hydrotherapy, herbal therapy, classic therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, and reflexology. Treating children with cerebral palsy and developmental delays Dr. Yampolsky practices alternative modalities utilizing BEST (Bio-Energetic System Therapy) massage created by her teacher Eugene Zuev, a famous Russian holistic practitioner and developer of the theory and practice of natural healing. In 2004 Astra Natural Healing started a novel unique form of physical therapy - DENS-therapy for children with cerebral palsy and developmental delays.
